Elizabeth Lowell attended the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, on a full scholarship and graduated summa cum laude. While in law school she served on the staff of Nevada Law Journal. She is originally from Summit, NJ, and earned her Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in English from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY. She came to Las Vegas to dance in magic shows on the Las Vegas Strip and worked for several years as a performer and flying mermaid until she became interested in studying law.
After graduating from law school in 2003, Elizabeth Lowell spent a year serving as law clerk to the Honorable Philip M. Pro, United States District Court District of Nevada. She then spent an additional two years as a law clerk with the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Nevada, and joined the Pengilly Law Firm in 2006.
Elizabeth handles primarily civil litigation and insurance defense.
Elizabeth participates on the alumni committee of the Chamber of Commerce’s program, Leadership Las Vegas. She also serves as a volunteer judge for the Family Court’s Truancy Diversion Program, which works to reduce youth crime and re-engage students in learning.
Outside the office, Elizabeth enjoys hiking, skiing and other activities with her husband and two children.
